On March 22nd, the Congressional District 6 Caucus of the Republican Party of Florida will be holding a caucus meeting to determine who the delegates will be.  The caucus members will be voting.

Each applicant will have an opportunity to speak for 2 minutes to present the reasons why you should be a delegate, if you choose to do so.  Attending the meeting or speaking is not required, though we do encourage it.

The caucus meeting will begin at 7:00 P.M.

It will be held at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge (Gator Lodge #67) in Gainesville.  The address is 3301 North Main Terrace.  That location is a decent balance since we have some that will be coming from Bradford and Clay as well as those that will be coming from the West.

From Bradford, Clay and Duval:
We expect you will be coming in through Waldo.  At 39th Avenue (222), take a right (turn left).  Cross Main Street.  Take a left onto NE 2nd Street, right on NE 35 Avenue, left on North Main Terrace and it is on your left.

From Lake and Marion County:
Come up I-75.  Exit 390 (39th Avenue – SR 222) and head east about 7 miles.  Take a right onto NE 2nd Street, right on NE 35 Avenue, left on North Main Terrace and it is on your left.

Alternatively, you can get off the interstate at Williston Road (121).  Turn left onto US-441 (13th Street), right on NW 23rd Avenue, Left onto North Main Street and left onto NE 33rd Avenue then right onto North Main Terrace.  The FOP Lodge will be on your right.  This router is about 5 minutes shorter, but potentially a little more confusing.

From Levy County:
Come in on Williston Road (121).  Turn left onto US-441 (13th Street), right on NW 23rd Avenue, Left onto North Main Street and left onto NE 33rd Avenue then right onto North Main Terrace.  The FOP Lodge will be on your right.

From Gilchrist County:
We assume you will be coming in through Trenton on SR26.  At Jonesville, take a left onto CR241 and take that to 39th Avenue (222).  Go East about 10 miles.  Take a right onto NE 2nd Street, right on NE 35 Avenue, left on North Main Terrace and it is on your left.
